The student will leave the class with a renewed confidence empowered to effectively speak to local, state and federal government officials regarding the cannabis movement. BUDTENDER CLASS – $150.00 (8 hours)
The student will have a condensed version of most of our other classes during a full day session. The objective is to give the student a well balanced overview of medical cannabis and how to effectively speak and serve qualified WA patients. Students will receive a certificate following completion of the class and a final exam.
THE BUSINESS OF CANNABIS – $350.00 (3 days)
This class is designed with the objective of helping people who may be considering opening a cannabis business in the state of Washington. The course will cover the basics of developing a business plan, operating budget, marketing plans, the different types of corporations, licensing, operating under current state versus federal laws and the risks associated with it. It also will cover security, being a good neighbor and basically a high-level overview of everything required to make a decision of whether the cannabis business is the right move for them.
INTRO TO COOKING & INFUSING – $60.00 (1.5 hours)
The student will leave this class knowing the tricks from some of those with decades of experience of cooking with cannabis and making wonderful salves, oils and tinctures. Facilitated by one of Seattle’s best industry vendors.
ADVANCED COOKING & INFUSING – $60.00 (2 hours)
Learn to take your hobby of cooking to a new level with the help of Stephen of Wayfinder Urban Farms. He will help you understand the quality standards, expected licensing, marketing, and much more.
INTRO TO GROWING – $100.00 (4 hours)
This class addresses not only the basics in starting your own home garden, but what it takes to ensure quality medicine is the result of your work. It will help the student through the myriad of equipment and nutrient options ensuring their money is well spent. The price of this course will easily be paid for by what you learn in equipment and nutrient savings from your first harvest! Facilitated by: Northwest Patient Resource Center‘s Master Grower, Jake.
ADVANCED COURSE IN GROWING YOUR OWN MEDICINE – $150.00 (7.5 hours)
This course is more directed at a larger scale garden. Focusing on the construction as well as equipment options and growing effectively with different styles and techniques. Facilitated by: NWPRC‘s Master Grower, Jake.
LEGAL Q & A HOUR with Expert Cannabis Defense Attorney – $50.00 (1.5 hours)
The first hour is designed to give you the basics on local law followed by a full hour of open questions and answers with a leading Seattle Cannabis Defense Attorney. Limited seats make sure everyone gets a chance to ask questions.
BASIC LEGAL CLASS: Understanding Cannabis Law and what you can do to influence change - $75.00 (2 hours)
This class is for anyone wanting to know the facts around cannabis law, both Federally, State and local Seattle laws. The student will leave knowledgeable about the federal risks and local government support. The class is instructed by one of the activists who actively participated in lobbying in Olympia for SB5073 and gave numerous testimonies at the congressional hearings. She also was one of the few stakeholders who participated in creating Seattle Ordinance.
ADVANCED LEGAL CLASS – $250.00 (4.5 hours)
This class will drill down on the legal issues surrounding collective gardens and the members operating a collective garden and was important enough to be facilitated by two of Seattle’s leading attorney cannabis experts – one criminal defense attorney and another corporate organizational attorney. The student will also learn about how to organizationally protect themselves as well as what licenses/applications and codes need to be followed to remain fully in compliance with the state of Washington and to maintain a defense in Seattle (research on other cities is continuing to evolve politically). There also will be a demonstration of an advance point of sale system that could become instrumental in your ability to comply with upcoming laws around inventory controls and patient limits.

THE ART OF MASSAGE – $25.00 (90 minutes)

The student will learn more about the advanced medical research being conducted Internationally on cannabinoids and the different effects they have on the body and mind. The student to expect to know the ABC’s of CBD, TCH, CBN, CBG, CBC, THCV, and CBGM.
PAIN MANAGEMENT – $75.00 (2 hours)
Learn how to manage your pain through acupuncture, medical cannabis, and the foods you eat.
STRESS MANAGEMENT – $60.00 (3 hours)
A seminar directed to helping you get your life back! How to stay healthy, how to say no. Also important meditation exercises. Students should dress comfortably and bring a mat or blanket for non strenuous relaxation work.
THERAPEUTIC NUTRITION: Healing your Body Through Food – $ 40.00 (1 hour)
This class focuses on the basic nutritional properties of food and the power that food has to heal your body for everyday wellness. This course will also include healthy cooking tips and quick and delicious recipes catering to all your nutritional needs. The instructor has a degree from Bastyr University and extensive experience in nutrition and in preparing meals for patients with chronic illnesses.
